WESPAC kicked off with the Last Chance Qualifier (LCQ) for those people who for Business reasons got too busy to play all the local Qualifiers needed to make their National Teams proper for the Main Event. It was a one-dayer featuring 8 games of tension.

The International boiling Scrabble crucible of the 5th WESPAC Nairobi Qualifier took place in Kampala at the end of May. These tough 18 matches were held at Makerere University Business School (MUBS).

PHENOMENON : LEGENDARY

Buried deep beneath my Company business files was this report I wrote weeks ago, lost, almost forever. 32 games from the African Scrabble Championships in Accra, Ghana. Its rediscovery had me wondering, should I release it, after all it contains unmitigated pain and suffering. Agony so intense that it couldn’t possibly exist on a Scrabble board.
